ZEISS, AxioCam 208c, USB 3.0 UHD color camera with standalone capability

Equipped with the versatile color microscope camera the microscope is suitable for a wide range of applications like education, documentation and routine application. The camera can be connected to a monitor for live image display at 4k resolution in 30fps. The easy and effortless documentation delivers sample images which will look like observed in the eyepiece.
Live image enhancement functions like denoising, sharpening and HDR deliver crisp images, which are rich in contrast and high in color fidelity.

AxioCam 208 can be used in three different modes:

1. In stand alone mode, where no computer is needed. The camera is simply connected to a monitor via HDMI. Besides live image enhancement functions, brightness and white balance is adjusted automatically. Images can be saved easily on a USB flash drive.

2. via USB or network connection the camera can be controlled wirelessly with the imaging app Labscope. In a built up network multiple cameras can be connected, which makes the AxioCam 208 the ideal solution for digital classroom or connected laboratories.

3. With the use of a computer, the imaging software ZEN provides a professional solution for acquiring, processing and analyzing image data.

To get the full experience of the smart documentation concept of AxioCam 208, the camera can be combined with Axiolab 5 or Axioscope 5. The camera communicates with these microscope models and offers extra features like automatic adaption of the scale bar after change of objectives or a snap button directly on the microscope.
