NEW German national law for the use of Uranyl compounds from depleted Uranium:
From 31.12.2018 the new German Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrSchV) of 29.11.2018, allows according to §5 paragraph 1 and Appendix 3, part B, item 9 the purchase of uranium compounds from depleted uranium for chemical-analytical and chemical-preparative purposes, e.g. for heavy metal staining for electron microscopy, up to an amount of uranium of 30 grams without permission.
