Description
Thin mono layers of graphene are created by using the process of chemical vapour deposition.
Characteristics
- Four thicknesses of graphene available: 1, 2, 3-5 or 6-8 layers
- Substrate is a 200nm thin silicon nitride film with approx. 6400 2.5µm sized holes on a 200µm thick 3.0mm hexagonal silicon substrate with 0.5x0.5mm aperture
- Graphene coverage of the TEM grid more than 75%
Appearance
The graphene film is near-transparent to light-grey film depending on the number of layers and sits on the surface of the microporous silicon nitride membrane. The solid hexagonal silicon substrate appears in greenish color.
