The Use of DMP (2,2-Dimethoxy Propane)

DMP (2,2-Dimethoxypropane, #E13280) is a quick and inexpensive material for processing tissue preparations for SEM. It requires no special equipment as critical point drying does and it is not complicated as with freeze-drying or freeze-substitution.
