NIGHTSEA™ Fluorescence Adapter for Dino-Lite Digital Microscopes, various Filter Sets

The NIGHTSEA™ Fluorescence Adapter enables fluorescence imaging with the Dino-Lite® digital microscope series.

The modular design allows easy switching between excitation/emission wavelengths. The broad excitation spectrum gives a wide range of applications from biology to geology and material research.

For large working distances, the Nightsea adapter is also recommended for Dino-Lite fluorescence models to optimize fluorescence excitation.

Description

Compatible Dino-Lite models
The NIGHTSEA fluorescence solution is best suited for Dino-Lite models with a long working distance (LWD). High magnification Dino-Lite models have a very short working distance, meaning that good illumination of the sample cannot be guaranteed.

The higher power of the NIGHTSEA system LEDs can supportively enhance performance of some Dino-Lite fluorescence models. Especially at longer working distances, when the intensity of the built-in Dino-Lite LEDs is not sufficient to provide fluorescence excitation of the sample.

The NIGHTSEA™ fluorescence adapter for the Dino-Lite® digital microscope series is an easy alternative to add fluorescence to Dino-Lite microscopes. NIGHTSEA™ uses the latest LED technology and is available for different excitation/emission wavelengths. With a simple click system, filter sets can be changed in seconds.

NIGHTSEA™ is available for the following wavelengths:

The wavelength sets are named, and color coded according to the color of the excitation light, not according to the color of the emitted fluorescence. The color coding ensures the use of the correct filter/LED head combination.
