A clear silicone rubber with very high tear strength. It can be reused more times than the conventional silicone molds. It is resistant to most epoxy resins and its clear base allows positioning of the specimen lighted from beneath. No more stickiness with new storage box Acrylic resins are no longer a challenge for flat embedding. In combination with the Cocoon box, which withstands temperatures up to 70 Degrees C, and our flat embedding molds flat embedding of acrylic resins (LR Gold, Lowicryls, etc.) are now possible. Oxygen is no longer an issue with our new Cocoon Boxes. These molds can be used for all resins except LR white.
